Belated happy Valentine’s Day guys, gals, and enby pals! I was busy last night (ya tita had a date!) and so I didn’t get to post this, but I did want to celebrate Valentine’s Day on my blog as well by sharing this list of romance recommendations!
I decided to divide this post into two parts. The first, Your Tita’s Fave Romances, talks about the romance novels I’ve read in the past year that I’ve absolutely enjoyed. The second, Your Tita’s Romance Wishlist, talks about the romance novels I have on my TBR that I desperately need to read! (Some of them came from Vicky’s list, which I’m plugging because she died writing that post y’all.)
Morning, comrades! Welcome to my third installment of Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly theme created The Broke and The Bookish in 2010 and moved to The Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.
For today, I’ll be talking about my top favorite couples in books in preparation for February 14, Valentine’s Day! And because I am super extra, I also included an aesthetic for each couple!
(I’ll also be posting a list of my favorite romance books on Valentine’s Day itself, so keep an eye out for it!)
The couples I picked out for this list are all explicitly canon couples. I wondered if I should include some of my fave ships, but then I figured if I started including non-canon couples, this list would go on forever and ever and ever. (Holla at me, Drarry fans!)
Check out my favorite bookish couples below!
Hey hey hey, guys, gals, and nonbinary pals! I’m back with my second installment of Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly theme created The Broke and The Bookish in 2010 and moved to The Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.
For today, the theme is New-to-Me Authors I Read in 2018. Considering that I only started blogging and really keeping track of my reading last year (not to mention reading diversely), pretty much all the authors I read last year were new to me. 😂
Nevertheless, I picked out ten really stand-out authors I discovered in 2018 to share with you all! Please note though that I only decided to include authors who debuted prior to 2018, so that this list would still fit the bare minimum of “New-to-Me” theme!
Let’s get started!
Evening, my good comrades! As part of my 2019 goals to be more organized with my posting schedule, I’ve decided to participate in Top Ten Tuesday! As you all probably know by now, Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly theme created by The Broke and The Bookish in 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018.
For today, the topic was Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2019. But because there’s just way too many books I’m looking forward to coming out this year, I’ve decided to divide this post into quarters. So today, I’ll be talking about my Most Anticipated Releases for January, February, and March.
Whaddup, guys, gals, and enby pals! How are your holidays going so far? Have you fallen into that post-Christmas, pre-New Year vortex of weirdness where you’re not sure if you’re still on holiday? Because I have. And I have fallen hard. It is literally a struggle to get up and take a shower, you know? I just want to spend the last week of the year cuddled up in bed with my cat, reading.
(Or maybe I’m just conserving energy needed for the New Year’s Eve festivities…?)
But! I made a commitment to Shealea’s #Project14Lists (read more about it here), and I stick to my commitments where Shealea’s concerned! And speaking of Shealea, today’s list is dedicated to her! It’s a part of my Christmas present (the rest will come when her, Cara, and I are all back in Manila, lol) as well as a blogging anniversary gift!
Read on to find out why you should be following Shealea and get her to 4K followers!
Season’s greetings guys, gals, and enby pals! Whatever holiday you celebrate, I hope you had a good one. And if you don’t celebrate any – well, I hope y’all had a wonderful, stress-free day.
As per yoosh, today’s post will be another entry in Shealea’s #Project14Lists. To know more about #Project14Lists, check out Shealea’s intro post here.
This one will be all about my favorite TV shows to binge-watch while writing. I play TV shows in the background while writing my blog posts, and while working, studying, or writing, instead of listening to music or a podcast. Just in case this method of stimulating your brain juices works for you as well, here’s what I like playing in the background when I’m at my laptop!
Hallelu, guys, gals, and nonbinary pals! I’m back with my second entry for #Project14Lists, a blogging collaborations started by Shealea of That Bookshelf Bitch to celebrate her third anniversary. To know more about Shealea and her journey in the book blogging world, as well as #Project14Lists, you can check out her introductory post here, or the rest of her blog here.
This list is a little bit late, because I promised this would go live yesterday (blame Gail Villanueva and her propensity for turning lunch dates into lunch-until-dinner dates, lol) but I hope you enjoy my list anyway, which today will be about my least liked reads of the year.
I will be doing a wrap-up post of my 5-star reads for the year soon (mostly towards the tail-end of December so I can close the year on a positive note) but I think it’s also important to talk about the books that I didn’t like. After all, as book bloggers, we have the responsibility and the right to talk about both books we immensely disliked (as long as we remain courteous and don’t tag the authors, of course!). That is, after all, why we have this platform.
Without further ado, here are my least liked books of 2018!
